Utilising the latest manufacturing technology, the Forthaven range is constructed from an impact resistant Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) external skin which is light in weight but has a higher strength ration than mild steel and an internal PVC skin bonded to a welded and steel reinforced PVCu sub-frame.

Thanks to the stability of GRP the colour finish is cured onto the resin, giving the door added protection against scratches and extreme weather conditions. As each door’s core material is manufactured from CFC free polyurethane foam, the Forthaven door also provides outstanding levels of thermal and noise insulation.

With durability another determining factor for the homeowner, technology ensures the leaf is fitted to a steel reinforced PVCu outer frame with a low aluminium threshold. This creates a door which is not only strong and secure but is also highly resistant to weathering, will not oxidise or rust and features the exact grain pattern and direction of a wooden door.

Look and feel are two features key to purchase and they have been built in as signature feature of the Forthaven range. Replicating the traditional timber door, the rich wood grain appearance is ideal for busy homeowners as they are practically maintenance free – no need for sanding, painting or varnishing.

The Forthaven composite door range is available with a choice of 6 colours (burgundy, dark blue, fir green, pure white, royal blue and ruby red), two wood grain options Rosewood and Oak and a range of unique glass designs. Each door comes complete with a gold aluminium low threshold for easy wheelchair access and features an 8-point high security locking system.
